I think the umps have to be a bit more observing when so close to the playoffs. Maybe he’s from Baltimore…..but even I, could have made that call right and I’m 73. Shame on the MLB umpires.

He belongs in the NL going forward. And the Yankees got a little salary relief out of it – it was a good move for everybody concerned – Burnett, Yankees and Pirates. Just enjoy being in contention for the first time in who knows how long and hope the Pirates don’t blow it. Also, i don’t know if you’ve seen the Yankees record recently, but they’re doing more than OK without Burnett.
